I don't remember any actual playsets, but I do remember being bored with my sister and cousins... and in that boredom we created a list of politically incorrect barbie dolls that would never make the market. Almost twenty years later, jokes still surface about that list when we get together.
hahaha..... love, love, love that bit of reality.
Hmm that second one is just a forest ranger... don't get why that would be inappropriate? Maybe Americans don't get what the man is?
those are hilarious! i wouldn't have a problem with my kids playing with any of them.
my husband and i were just talking about how awesome it would be if there were a line of playmobil inspired by "queer as folk", with sets to include brian kinney's loft, babylon, the diner, debbie novotny's house, etc . . . called "gaymobil" of course.
That is too funny.
ohdeedo y'all rock today! love you!
eloquasious - park ranger, funny! I agree - nothin inappropriate about fresh, free range meat!
Y'all need to check out Sweet Juniper's brilliant and hilarious post about Playmobil and The Road: http://www.sweet-juniper.com/2010/01/smiling-at-apocalypse.html
I agree with you, doubledutch. I love that show..
Bah, those are fine! We've gone a bit too safe in our toys this side of the world. My son has a whole universe of random Playmobil and he invents scenarios for HOURS at a time with the little German-made folks. For instance, the pirates capture the Romans, make them wear pirate hats while the dinosaurs eat scuba divers when they maroon on their island...totally awesome.
