They ought to give more information at 1st Dibs. Not that I could afford them, but I like those Gazelle chairs. There's NO info there at all. It says they're "chairs" which I was able to figure out on my own.
It mentions a name, and I read it as that Miami Vice Don Johnson. Oy!
It says "bronze" and I wonder if that's the actual material of the support structure or the color. It says "sculptural" which means next to nothing.
No idea what the seat/back are made of. No idea of the measurements. And there's no price.
As soon as I see "rare" I always wonder if they're lying. Seems EVERYTHING is "rare" if you look on eBay. Now, if they said "rare: 1 of 50 limited edition items, verified by so and so, only 5 of which were known to survive the fire in the manufacturers building, and being made of metal, one was taken apart and currently is being used as a fireplace poker in Boise"...then I'd say they were "rare."
