We're all for hanging onto furniture pieces that have "good bones" but for one reason or another, are in need of a little TLC. For example, the fabric might be outdated or the wood might be crying out for some makeover magic. We often have to wait until we have the time or money or resources to make it our own. Such is the case with Heidi and Alexis' chairs.
In Heidi's case, she was turned onto the right resource for fabrics--Tonic Living. There she picked up "Stanford Teal" which is touted as a retro geometric print. It's the perfect match for her freshly painted black chair (which shows of the ornate arms) and gives the chair a more formal look.
Found for $5 at a thrift store, the chair was begging to be recovered properly
Once Alexis's schedule became less hectic, it allowed her the opportunity for finding just the right fabric for her vintage modern chair. A flirty geometric print on a bright yellow background is just the thing that this sleek chair needed.
