Thanks for the line up of cases! My iPad 2 should arrive tomorrow (fingers crossed for timely shipping), along with the (product) RED smart cover. Now I'm looking for something to protect the back of the iPad and have my eye on two options: something silly/fun from decalgirl (not yet available for iPad 2) or a bamboo work of art from Grove. In the meantime, I knit and felted a sleeve that will work great to keep the iPad from getting scratched up in my bag.
You forgot to mention Pad & Quill, which makes a far superior case than Dodo.
Thanks for adding SleeWay cases to this top 20 http://www.etsy.com/shop/SleeWay?ref=pr_shop&view_type=gallery
I just wanted a simple black leather folio style case. One which wouldn't hinder any functions, would look nice in meetings and would keep my pad safe. I ended super happy with my choice.
Cyber Acoustics Leather iPad 2 Cover
- Great price
- Good weight, light but sturdy
- Magnets work great
- Excellent stand
- Looks very professional, great quality leather
- Lots of options, strap, business card holder, etc
- nice surface on the inside flap, gentle on screen, does not attract pet hair
- most importantly as I found while looking at portfolio cases, is the parts that hold it in place do not cover the border of the screen and do not inhibit your swipe gestures.
My runners up were:
- Bear Motion Genuine Leather Case
- AYL Premium Genuine Slim Leather
- Yoobao Executive Genuine Leather
- CaseCrown Apple iPad 2 Bold Standby
Hope this helps you save some time and you enjoy the case as much as I do.
These cases will all work better than the thin protection available from Apple. I was also looking for a professional, black case for the ipad 2 and am very happy with the look and surface protection that the leather cyber acoustics case provides. http://buildsitepro.com/home.asp
Protecting your iPad is important but don't forget that when you bought the iPad you had weight and bulk in mind. when you buy an iPad sleeve Go light and don't add bulk to your iPad and waste money on a case that doubles the thickness.
I love the booqpad ipad case, that's what I am using right now. They have a high quality and good price.
