Are you the proud owner of a gorgeous new Retina display iPad? Well, we've got some cases and sleeves for you! Similar to the roundup we did when the second generation iPad arrived on the scene, we've gathered up 35 of our favorite cases for the new iPad, and since the form factor is so very similar to the iPad 2 (just a tiny bit thicker), these cases which range from utilitarian to adorable will also work for the iPad 2.
While the Smart Cover from Apple still works on the new iPad, it really doesn't offer much protection.
Like the Targus and keyPAD models above, the Belkin YourType Folio + Keyboard converts the iPad into a viable laptop replacement for most simple computing tasks.
Of course these cases and sleeves are only the tip of the iceberg and we know there are many more out there. What iPad cases do you use and love?

What about the DODOCase? simple, sturdy design and holds the iPad2 and new iPad in place securely. By far my favorite.
I have this one:

Its great cause it has a hard back, a flip front, on/off capability, and the front can make a stand when flipped back.
Im pretty happy with it!
Some of the sleeves are pretty, but I was really looking for some protection
i have and love this one -

Beacon Cases have a gorgeous leather exterior and a solid wood frame -- http://www.beaconcase.com/
My family members have them and LOVE them!
We have, and are very happy with, a Targus case. It's not the one shown above, but the one that rotates. It's a little bulky, but I think it offers great protection, which was important to us because we have kids.
This is the cover I've got; soft embossed leather outside, soft nappy suede inside. It doesn't fold up into a roll the way the Apple Smart Cover does (which I prefer anyway- more like a real book cover), but it's got the nifty magnetic strip on the outer edge to hold it shut and activate the auto-sleep functionality. Bonus: "Electric Library." :)

These are cool too!, they just opened there first NYC location in SOHO last year.

The bookbook by twelve south is far superior to all of the above examples. Its cheap and looks like an old book some wizard might have stashed in his library. But since its not at all girly or feminine it is probably not for everyone.
I have this one from Clairebella. Comes in lots of patterns with monogram options.

I am surprised Portenzo cases didn't make this list, although they have a 3-week turnaround right now due to demand. Mine is shipping soon, finally!

BIG fan of the Saddleack case: http://www.saddlebackleather.com/Products/iPad-Accessories/
I have the sleeve and it is awesome!
It would be nice if there was a slideshow format for those of us with smaller screens.
