Every year Home Magazine hosts the American Furniture Awards, and each year there are more pieces to covet. Here are a few of the stand-outs from 2008.

It seems that a lot of the winning designs continued in the "Hollywood Regency" style (such as the mirrored chandelier at top with antique gold finish), But there are also a number of pieces geared at compact functionality, such as the desk shown above.
