Every year New York hosts the International Gift Fair. Almost 3,000 companies from around the globe display their goods, most of which eventually end up at a store near you. Walking through the rows and rows of exhibition booths is a bit of a cock tease though, since most everything isn't available at a store yet. So while you may covet the never before seen "enter" key welcome mat, you won't be able to buy it until merchant orders get shipped to your store. It's just not fair. We want it now daddy!

That said, we walked the convention hall of Javits and snapped photos of some items we thought are worth the wait (note: some of these items may already be available so drop some knowledge and let us know where you've seen them).

Today we look at Kikkerland's booth...

  • USB Battery Charger: Charges two AA batteries via your computer's USB port.
  • Ladybug Earbuds: Just what they sound like..
  • Felt Door Organizer: Hangs on your doorknob and holds everything from keys and cell phones.
  • Green Button: Put your computer to sleep with a single click.
  • Hub Man: Stick figure-shaped USB hub. Power indicator LED in place of heart.
  • Jelly Lens: Different mobile phone camera lenses which enhance your photos. You can create a soft focus, macro focus, wide angle, sparkle effect and more.
  • Ultrasonic Aroma Diffuser: Humidifies with a hint of aromatic scents like lavender.
  • Enter Doormat: Recycled rubber with nylon flocking.
  • Charging Station: Put your cell phone on its own grassy knoll.
  • Home Doormat: Recycled rubber with nylon flocking.
  • USB Flower Hub: Each tulip has its own USB port.
  • Superhero Magnetic Pixels: 1,400 magnets to create your own blurry caped crusader.
  • Solar Radio:Powered by both solar and hand crank.
