DwellStudio unveiled new products and new patterns at the recent ABC Kids Expo in Vegas and while they're known for their bedding, they've broadened their vision to create what they call "a complete interior landscape."
A while back a reader wrote us looking for a non-kid-themed shower curtain and we did our best to come up with some ideas. DwellStudio's new shower curtains (in many of their popular prints) would have fit the bill perfectly. Below you can also catch a glimpse of their new storage bins - perfect as hampers, toy "boxes" or catch-alls.
They've introduced rugs incorporating motifs from their signature prints like "Gio" shown below. The rugs are hand-tufted New Zealand wool and will be available in two sizes (3' x 5' or 5' x 8').
These colorful animal banks even look sturdy enough to be used as bookends.
In addition to the new "Geometry" print we looked at yesterday, they've added Snapdragon to their collection of patterns. Both new additions resemble hand-drawn illustrations (inspired by the work of Enzo Mari, Paul Cox, and Bruno Munari) - a sophisticated departure from Dwell's usual graphic style.
DwellStudio's not just moving out of the bedroom, they're moving out of the house entirely with their backpacks for kids on the go.
The 2009 DwellStudio collection is not yet available for sale, but you can check prices, see more details and set your bookmarks at DesignPublic.
