- Dec. 14: Last day for Parcel Post Service for Dec. 25 arrival.
- Dec. 19: Last day for Destination Network Distribution Center (DNDC) Drop Ship for Dec. 25 arrival.
- Dec. 20: Last day for First-Class Mail Service for Dec. 25 arrival.
- Dec. 21: Last day for Destination Delivery Unit (DDU) Drop Ship for Dec. 25 arrival.
- Dec. 21: Last day for Priority Mail Service for Dec. 25 arrival.
UPS: 2012 Year-End Holiday Schedule
- Thursday, Dec. 20: Normal pickup and delivery service for air, international and ground packages. UPS Next Day Air packages picked up today will arrive Friday, Dec. 21. UPS 2nd Day Air packages picked up today will arrive on Monday, Dec. 24.
- Friday, Dec. 21: Normal pickup and delivery service for air, international and ground packages. UPS Next Day Air packages picked up today will arrive Monday, Dec. 24. UPS 2nd Day Air packages picked up today will arrive Wednesday, Dec. 26.
- Saturday, Dec. 22: Delivery of UPS Worldwide Express, UPS Next Day Air and UPS 2nd Day Air packages processed and labeled for Saturday Delivery. Pickup service available for air and international packages only.
- Monday, Dec. 24, Christmas Eve: Normal delivery service for air, international and ground packages. Pickup service provided to scheduled pickup account customers for air and international shipments if prearranged by Friday, Dec. 21. UPS On-Call Pickup service and all UPS Drop Boxes also are available for air and international packages to all customers.

Thanks! Each year I mark in my calendar that I'm not going to put off mailing until too late for USPS, and once again the date has slipped by me, but UPS and FedEx still look reasonable. I better get busy.
Look, I'm the last person to complain about so-called "wars" on holidays, but given that this whole article is centred around the concept of getting presents to their destinations by December 25th, I don't think it would be out of place to say "Christmas" in the post.
If you wanted to be inclusive about it, it would have been better to publish this post earlier.
