3 Family Friendly Homes In Dwell Magazine

I love flipping through modern home decor, design and architecture magazines and blogs. They're serious eye candy, but quite often the spaces don't feel exactly kid friendly — that is until you see kids interacting with them. Check out these three hip, fresh spaces that are as much eye candy as they are cool, kid homes.

Here's a look at a few kid-friendly homes featured in Dwell Magazine (the focus of their July/August issue). You can learn more about each home and take a full tour through the links below.

1. A Piece Of Home: This home in Scotland, is the result of two architects from different cultures creating their dream home.

2. A Well Grafted Home: This space in Kentucky had to meet strict city limitations and the end product is a beautiful modern annex in an older neighborhood.

3. Play's The Thing: This space was once an old dairy and it has been flipped into a child's dream world. Heck, it's mine too! It's a playground of all sorts and well worth the full tour.
