I found lots to love about this Santa Monica house tour on California Home + Design. Then I scrolled through again… and again… and again. I found something new to admire each time. While there's plenty I'd emulate in my home, three clever details stood out.

1. The fabric on the curtains is cleverly picked up on the end tables. It's a thoughtful, unexpected way to use a beautiful fabric or wallpaper.
2. The room may be mellow, but the doors are a bright green — a lovely detail that ties together the indoors and outdoors.
3. The bright tiles on the floor are carried up the wall in the bathroom. While it's in a playroom here, this is a great idea for foyers that have adjacent powder rooms.
