3 Little Boys, 1 Little Room

Smaller Cooler 2011 Entry #1

Names: John (5), Leo (3.5) and Adam (2)
Location: LaGrange, IL
Division: Shared Room
Room Size: 100 sq. ft.

Tip for Living Small with Kids: PURGE the kid clutter on a regular basis. You'd be surprised at how much you can get rid of without them ever noticing.

Biggest Design Challenge in this Room: The boys are still too little to safely bunk. Fortunately, we were able to fit one bed in each corner of the room, which --along with the individual wall monograms and magnet boards-- gives each of them their own defined space.

Favorite Thing About This Room: I love all the color. I tend to shy away from too much color in the rest of my house, but I think the room turned out bright, cheerful, and busy...just like my boys! The boys' favorite thing is their "secret cabin hideout" under the captain bed.

Thanks for your entry Sheri and good luck!
