Growing up, nothing satisfied us more than a neat room. To us, having everything in its place was a great feeling--and it's a standard that has followed us into adulthood. We recognize a kindred spirit in Candace's three neat rooms (and it doesn't hurt that we admire her decorating style)...
Relying on primary colors, Candace mixes and matches patterned bedding, teeny artwork and magazine files to unify her bedroom space.
Sticking to mainly yellow and white the addition of dark wood blinds and a side table is classic and upbeat.
A grouping of artwork set against white, wood walls makes the living room feel clean and orderly. A wicker pendant lamp and sheer green curtain panels stick with the room's light and airy vibe.

That's exactly what I was thinking.
I love the style of this home and more importantly I love the organization and neatness as well. Having things in their place and organized can make for such a better room.
So simple and beautiful. And I think the side table is part of the couch, actually. I would love to live there.

:) I should probably just mention that my house does not always look like this BUT I do like to keep organized. We have two young children (1 and 2) and without organization it would be pure chaos. Art has to be hung a bit higher, books, media, and files have to be tucked away, and we dust and vacuum like crazy.
@Emily Sneds - Yes it is part of the sofa! It's actually a pull-out sofa and the sideboard folds outwards to extend the bed.

why is the "we" so annoying people? Get over it. Maybe she's talking about HER AND SIBLINGS OR someone in her family GROWING UP. She could say "I" but who really cares? Who HONESTLY cares?!
