Tired of your blank walls but your bank account's not exactly supporting your wall decor dreams? You can get creative to make your walls look interesting, and you can do it without spending a lot (or even any!) money. These three no-fail ways will never let you down.

1. Use what you what you wear

You've already spent the money on clothing, accessories and more to wear — why not get double the use of it and use it as decor? The trick is to make displaying fashion on the walls look intentional — so use a collection of like items and hang them uniformly. It'll look more like you did it on purpose than just threw a bunch of dirty pieces of laundry up there.

2. Paint it on

Use paint you already have around the house, ask friends if you have some of their leftover paint that's just sitting in their garage or pick up surprise paint colors for cheap at hardware stores in the mess-up bin. The Internet is flooded with ideas for art you can paint onto your walls, and anybody can create something good-looking for not a lot of money.

3. Anything can be art!

When it comes to walls and needing to find things to decorate them with, just about anything is a possibility. As with clothing, the trick to not making it look like you live in a thrift store is making your decor hanging choices look intentional. Find like-items that have decorative qualities to them — interesting shapes, bold colors, some funny detail in common — and group them in ways that look like you meant your wall to house this collection.
