I feel like I can barely open up Google Reader without seeing a reference to s'mores (including variations on the traditional treat) and I'm not complaining: 'tis the season. But what if, like me, you don't see any campfires in your family's future this summer but you'd still like to enjoy some s'mores goodness? Here are three recipes for s'mores flavor (minus the campfire) to try.

1. S'Mores Cupcakes: Stephanie of 52 Kitchen Adventures went the cupcake route with her s'mores which would be perfect for a family picnic or summertime birthday party. Clearly a fan of this flavor combo, she has also made S'mores Pie (for grown ups) and S'mores Cupcake Ice Cream Sandwiches.

2. Baby S'mores: Michelle, aka The Domestic Mama & the Village Cook, things bigger is not always better and made miniature baked s'mores in a mini muffin pan. A perfect size if you're having a bunch of toddlers over.

3. S'mores Popcorn: Here's a grand idea: plan a family movie night this summer (outside if you can swing it) and surprise everyone with s'more popcorn. Nest of Posies shares her recipe and it's easy enough for your kids to do most of the work.
