From our video archives, here are 3 quick craft projects that you can do this weekend — with your kids, if you have kids, or with yourself, if you just like making things and having fun.
This one is my personal favorite: from maker John Gleeson Connolly, simple instructions for making a Jitterbug, a little toy that will provide you with hours of amusement. All you need is a tiny electric motor (from Radio Shack or a local electronics store), and some other things you can find around the house.
Also from John Gleeson Connolly, instructions for making a cypher wheel. Your secret communications will never fall into the wrong hands ever again.
This video, from Maxwell, is about making Christmas cards, but who says you can't make cards year-round? Maxwell has a clever idea for making personalized cards, and all you need is a printer with a scanner.
Thanks for watching, and happy crafting!
