For small tots and toddlers it can be a big enough challenge to get to the bathroom on time, let alone hassle with turning on a light or wriggling out of your pajamas. Here to help are toilet bowl lights that not only remind you that the seat is up, but where to go in the first place.

Although we had a small chuckle thinking they'll just be something else we have to clean down there, we do like these in-bowl night lights for several reasons, here's why:

1. Color Coded Motion Activated Light: This is the cream of the crop when it comes to toilet bowl lighting (man we really have to get out more). This little sensor not only turns on when you get near, but it also gives you a green light or red. Red means the seat is up, a good thing for guys, but not little girls. Green means the seat it down and all is clear for the lady folk in the house. $21.95

2. Stick Up Sensor Light: Although this model doesn't attach to the toilet in any way, shape or form, we do like that it is able to be positioned right where you need it to be. The light is motion activated and when a little one gets near, it activates, showing where to go... literally. $14.98

3. Johnny Light: This light sits between your toilet seat and bowl and lights up when the seat is lifted. It has rather rave reviews for moms who had great success with their little boys. Afterall, Green means go in almost everything! $13.95

Would you ever use a little light like this? Do you think your children (or yourself) would benefit from a little extra bowl-glow? Let us know in the comments below!
