Here at Apartment Therapy, we're all about color, so in this week's video roundup we're bringing you three ways to add color to your home with a little bit of paint. These projects range in difficulty from 'super easy' to 'might take a few hours' to 'requires serious comitment,' so whether you're a seasoned DIYer or just looking to get your feet wet, there's something here for you.
This project idea comes from Krystle Desantos, our Media Campaign Manager at Apartment Therapy. She shares a great idea for adding color to simple glass jars — and it only takes a few minutes.
The next project is from Cate Griffin, another member of our Apartment Therapy staff. (We're a very talented bunch.) She shares a simple (and renter-friendly, if your landlord is on board with painting) way to add color to your home: paint the inside of your front door! It's an easy project that only takes a few hours.
And finally, if you have a little bit of time and want to create something that has a really big impact, check out this video from Apartment Therapy's Color Therapy columnist Mark Chamberlain. Mark is a pro at creating stripes and patterns on walls, and he's got lots of great tips for painting bold patterns on your walls.
