Practice, practice, practice!
Take up the old carpet from the back hall and stairs and see what condition the wood is in (not bad, just needs to have the tarpaper removed).
My project was to see an old friend in Bellevue, WA, (old friend as in I haven't seen her since about 1984!), then hit Cost Plus and Trader Joe's for the gourmet treats!
These are some great ideas! I cant wait to get started!
I was going to paint my tv stand today but can't decide what to do! Its an old Ikea stand (not made anymore), solid pine, very basic with castors and four cubbys. I was thinking of staining the outside an painting the inside of the cubbys white... or the same 'peacock' color I just painted a hand me down sewing table that is now a laptop desk/end table in my living room. Ohhh, what to do?
Thanks for the free label links - these will work great for my classroom too!
Thanks for the roundup of nifty projects! I love the light up outdoor orbs and the DIY curtain project :)
You're confusing me with someone who doesn't already have 10 unfinished projects waiting for me at home. :)
This is the time for tying up all the loose ends from summer projects: last week we had a bunch of carpentry stuff done; this week we had our chimney removed, this weekend we will finish painting our back stairs.
You're taking the Labor part of Labor Day weekend far too literally.
For a second I thought this post was for your Canadian readers, then I remembered that it's a three day weekend in the U.S., too. Some articles and cool shop shout-outs for Canadian cities would be nice
i love no 18! thanks for the great ideas!
