Items used for the project and favorite part of the storage solution:
My favorite part of my storage solution is the clear "shoe" holder that I purchased from a local hardware store. The fact that the pouches are clear makes it a cinch to see where everything is located. I purchased the hanging canvas "instant closet" from Bed Bath & Beyond along with the red canvas bins. I like how I can also easily see where everything is - eliminating the need to hunt and peck. The rug is from IKEA.

Storage tip for families with children:
My best tip is the clear "shoe" organizer. I have the one shown that houses my baby's small stuff and another on the back of the door on the coat closet that stores hats, gloves, travel umbrellas, and scarves.

Thanks for entering, Judy!

I like how the clothes are hanging on the side, cool use of space!
I like the clothes hanging on the side too. I think that would work in my daughter's closet and would save me a ton of space.
I use a similar shoe organizer in my baby's room for little things like burp cloths, bibs, hats, chupa and clips (pacifier), etc. I can instantly see where everything is and it all has it's own place. Is saves room in his dresser/changing table for clothes and diapering essentials and keeps the surfaces free of clutter. This one looks extra cute with all the color-coordinating items!
so smart to use a clear rack for the shoes and little bits that come with baby clothes... I'm going to search for one for my daughter's room. thanks for the idea!
