Why I use color:

I wanted to love my kitchen and wanted to feel good while preparing meals. This color inspiration came from looking at different vegetables and fruits. I wanted to have some contrast so that is why the orange is interrupted by white. Color is such a wonderful thing and it can change your mood in a second.

I love warm and vibrant tones and that is why I love summer and autumn, there is just so much color around it makes me happy. Changing thecolor of your walls can give a room a slight and sometimes a total makeover without spending a fortune.

2 Good color tips:

1. Make sure you are absolutely sure that the color you choose is the color that you love. Re-painting can take the fun out of painting.

2. Color swatches are a great thing to take home so don't be afraid to take as many as you can. Pasting them to your wall (or different parts of the room) and observing them at different hours of the day can help you make a better color decision.

2 good color resources:

1. I am a graphic designer so I collect every piece of printed media that I happen to like. I past them in a book and if I need a new color combination I just open up my book.

2. My last color inspiration came from falling leaves, so nature and
everything surrounding us is a great resource for color as well.
