Mimicking a tangle of vines, the 38 series planter chandelier is a new lighting concept from Omer Arbel of Canadian design firm Bocci.
Trailing plants are especially suited for the fixture, which features copper tubing snaking in and out and around a jumble of hand-blown glass spheres. The spheres house lighting elements and shallow free-form "vases" in the cavities for air plants, cactus, and succulents. A few vases even stand out on their own, creating a glowing, jungle-like canopy.
The 38 series is based on Arbel's one-of-a-kind glass-blown pendants from the 28 series. See more of the studio's projects here.

I don't know... it looks less like a tangle of vines and more like a tangle of cancerous growths to me
I like that kind of plant but those fixtures just look like a big mess to me. Cool idea, execution not so good.
like it!
Its an interesting concept.
But most plants don't like heat on their roots, and most lights don't like water around their electrical parts - so it doesn't seem like such a good combination to me.
Looks like weird embryos. Too weird for me.
