The tips from Creature Comforts are great. Thanks for the helpful links.
As a contributor for Create Like Crazy, Sarah's ability to capture product and people blows me away. I am thrilled that she's being featured within this post. The other sites offer amazing tips as well!
Thanks you SO much for this, I'm really struggling to create nice product photos.
A note to people trying to sell something ... avoid the temptation to be "creative" with photographs. I absolutely loathe trying to figure out the details of an item when the photos are overly artistic- and the same goes for the descriptions of merchandise. If you are trying to sell something, the photographs should clearly show the item and all of its important features/details. Yes, it might be cure to pose your baby with that hand crafted teacup you're trying to sell but it's not going to help me decide whether or not I want to buy it ;)
this is super useful, thanks!
Thank you!!! The main purpose of my blog is to share baby-friendly recipes, however, I'm aware that the quality of pictures on the blog is very important. I am by no means a photographer but I do hope I'll learn something from these posts!!!!
