1. Labeling all those storage boxes. Get out there and finally label the boxes out in the garage, so you'll find the Halloween decorations without opening up 10 boxes of Christmas lights first. 2. Getting organized in the kitchen. If you're anything like us, the cool weather has you wanting to get in the kitchen and try new dishes (perfect for impressing your co-workers at the Thanksgiving potluck). Label those new special ingredients with a name and a date before you're left with three shakers of anise. 3. Wrapping presents. If you have an older label maker, your gifts can get an extra flair this holiday season with punky or vintage-cool "to" and "from" labels. If you're buying a fancy new label maker, you can print out unique gift labels in dozens of fonts and spiffy designs. 4. Labeling your home for guests. Hosting guests this December? Turn your house into a kindergarten classroom and label everything. They'll know where to find spoons, the trash can and the DVD remote without having to ask.
