Every time we set foot inside 45 Three the place looks different. Not only is it rearranged but the store's founder, Staci Cain, has trouble keeping things on the showroom floor for very long. Blame it on completely reasonable prices, great pieces, frequent sales and loyal clientele. We've run into other designers, art directors and her regulars: the people that stop in once or twice a week to be the first to lay their hands on her newest finds.
A little history about the store:
A little over a year ago Staci Cain was re-evaluating her professional path. Having spent years as a studio executive, she yearned for something more creative, something that she felt more passionately about. A trip to the South of France ensued and reignited a passion she'd had since she was little: collecting antiques and vintage furniture. Staci started collecting: she shipped her wares home and people loved them. Then she started hosting small private sales and people loved those. Then, one of her usual haunts: Casa Victoria on Fairfax decided to consolidate into one showroom (in Silver Lake) and they offered the storefront to Staci.
Taking the plunge, she opened 45 Three Modern Vintage Home and hasn't looked back since.
She carries everything from cool vintage paintings and portraits, Italian Ceramic animals, 60’s and 70’s geometric patterned fabrics, Regency style settees and lots of great lamps to abstract art from the 60s and 70’s, tufted chairs and small accessories. The store is high glamour and loaded with drama (check out that rainbow snake print on the wingback chair). And like we mentioned: the best part is that the showroom floor changes often. Things sell quickly and if something isn't selling Staci will recover it, reimagine it or donate it to make space for something new. She is passionate about what she decides to sell and wants, above everything, to inspire her customers. So no stale showroom for her.

The slideshow at the top of the page just reloads the page, which may be handy for generating pageviews but is rather frustrating for your audience. Anyway, this is a great collection of antique pieces!
What a delightful and inspiring shop!
Ha! When I first opened I thought I was looking at somebody's house tour and not a store. I thought "Holy color, texture, and prints Batman!" Then I read the details. This looks like a fun store to check out.
I thought the same, bumblebee!
Although I love almost everything, I was thinking that *perhaps it was a bit cluttered! It makes sense for a store.
Just what I need: one more reason to miss LA...

45 Three is a fabulous store! I've been in there and the owner is really just as wonderful as described in this article. She has an amazing eye, and I'm always sure to find something special that will transform the look of my home. These pictures are great, but they don't do the store the justice it deserves. You really have to step in and experience it for yourself. I want everything from the sweet pair of elephant tables to the incredible pair of African print chairs! I definitely can't wait to check out the sale next Sat!!! I know I won't be disappointed and will be sure to walk away with some fabulous pieces and even better deals!!
I want to live inside the store. DROOL...sigh.....
I absolutely LOVE this shop. Every time we go to L.A. we stop by and are always amazed at the fabulous treasures there and the prices are reasonable. This is a classy shop with a classy owner. Wish we had sometime like this in San Diego. WE WILL BE AT YOUR SALE NEXT SATURDAY!!
What a great store! I adore the little silver elephants!
I love your style! What an inspiring story....do what you love. Thanks for sharing!

My love affair with 45 Three began when I spied a fabulous pink chair on the sidewalk and couldn't resist walking in. Not only did I buy that chair, but I have filled my home again and again with beautiful pieces from this store. It is a weekly addiction! The prices are incredible and each object is one-of-a-kind. Staci has an amazing eye and an irresistible charm. I have acquired signature lamps, chairs and accessories, but more importantly I have made a cherished new friend!
Wow! Can't wait to visit...
This shop is the perfect combination of irresistible pieces and a wonderful owner. I stopped in off of the street just because the sign was so neat, and I ended up in a great chat with Staci. It was hard to choose from the collection in front of me, but it's gotten easier since! Honestly, if she would open a bar and restaurant in the back, this would be my second home. LOVE IT - good call on this one!
45 Three is one of those rare treasures you discover and you thank God for sharing it with you. Staci has such a gift for finding the most unique items!!!! You won't be disappointed so get up and go tresure hunting.
Love the yellow chairs ...they are delicious.... and the little tribe of elephants....
Staci Cain's store is a magical wonderland of vintage style and eclectic visual inspiration for both browsers (me) and collectors (me). While the pieces I've bought from her are small, I can't imagine my house without them. Bravo!
the two chairs (by the antlers and lamp) are sweeeet.
Some really great finds in there! And further evidence that yellow will turquoise a run for it's money as 2010 color.
The first time i went there i was disappointed. Will give it another go...
Can't wait to go! Makes me miss LA, too!
I'm sure it's a nice store, but I hate, hate, hate all the comment spam by.... whom? The store owner? Her friends? It's transparent and it's annoying. Stop. Thank you.
