If you prefer to keep your feet firmly on solid ground, then look away. These homes all come with amazing style, killer views (and a touch of vertigo). Check them out.

Above: This concept house (read: it's not real yet) is named — obviously —Cliff's House was designed by Australian firm Modscape. It consists of four vertically-stacked stories and attaches to the cliff with "engineered steel pins." Not for the faint of heart.

You can see why they named this cool, Suffolk, England structure the Balancing Barn. It's even available for rentals (it sleeps eight)! Extra points if you're brave enough to let your kid swing under that overhang.

This concept house called Casa Brutale is carved right into the side of a cliff. Check out the "rooftop" swimming pool and the scary-cool views at designboom.

This is Eve, one of the Free Spirit Spheres in Vancouver Canada. She (and her other two sphere sisters) are available for rentals if you're not scared to spend a night or two in the trees.

The Cape Schanck house was designed by Jackson Clements Burrows Architects to take advantage of the stunning views of a nearby bay. Look out, not down! That's our motto.
