The great thing about seeing someone else's DIY or Before & After is how inspired you feel to do your own. But time and resources don't always permit you to dive right into what you have in mind. So into the bookmarks they go. Many times I've come back to projects when I've had the time, and in the meantime here are 5 simple projects waiting in the wings.

Very nice rug. Congratulations.
The Plasti Dip is amazing! I am going to have to try that! And speaking of simple... I just finished a homemade window covering out of a shawl and a tree branch... Couldn't be easier:

Plasti-dip is a fun material to experiment with. My craft club dipped old knick knacks, keys, and shells. Check it out- http://fellowcreatives.com/2010/09/16/plasti-dip/
I painted a few bottles like in #5, and they look really cool, but in at least one of them the paint has started to crack and sag. Maybe I didn't use enough paint, and I know it's just a quick and cheap (ei: not permanent) project, but I was still a tiny bit disappointed to see it.
Oh, and I also did #4. If you're considering it, DO IT! I am beyond in love with this tutorial and the result! Now, what to do with all those leftover pieces...
