We don't have to tell you that portable flash drives are handy for transporting files. But they're only useful if you can actually remember to bring them from the office to your apartment next time you need to tackle a little work from home. These 5 flash drives are nearly impossible to lose.
Each of these compact and portable storage devices can clip on to your clothes, keys, files, messenger bag or anything else you're sure not to forget. It's 100% guaranteed they'll be there when you need them.
1. The Bulavkus USB flash drive is what happens when a flash drive and a safety pin love each other very much. Clip this onto your clothes for truly "go-anywhere" data storage. From Art Lebedev Studio, 4GB, launched in April 2012 and hopefully coming to stores soon.
2. Tech company Verbatim makes some solid compact flash drives, but this one features an integrated clip to hang on between the buttons on your shirt or the inside of a wallet. $7.99 for 4GB from Amazon.
3. The Data Clip by Japanese company Nendo is shaped like a paperclip to piggyback onto folders, notes or whatever else you're dragging around. $39.99 for 4GB from AudioCubes.com.
4. The Clip Flash Drive from Imation features an attached mini-carabiner to securely clip onto keys and belt loops. $13.99 for 4GB from Amazon.
5. The USB Wooden Clip Flash Drive from Brando can fasten onto anything a clothespin can handle, like your shirt sleeves or the strap of a messenger bag. 2GB for $16, 4GB for $17, 8GB for $20, or 16GB for $25, from Brando.com.

"Impossible-to Lose"
With me, nothing is impossible.
In order for me to not lose a flash drive, it would have to be the size of an unabridged dictionary... which would negate the point of a flash drive, I suppose. (Seriously. I have at least 10 in my house... somewhere.)
I found this usb bracelet today - love! http://usbling.us/
I keep mine on my key ring with my car keys. Not impossible to lose, but I can't remember the last time I lost my car keys :)
Having said that, I think the safety pin one is cute.

Real App it.
My personal favorite is a LaCie CooKey, which looks just like a key and fits with the rest of my keys on my keychain. It goes wherever I go, unless I lost my keys…
Re #1: Hard to lose; easy to launder.
The paperclip one actually looks like it would be REALLY easy to lose. Also, why does anyone even use flash drives when things like DropBox exist? So much easier.
@Susan - I also thought I would never lose my USB keychain - until it slipped out of my pocket while running. The keychain had my home and car keys and I couldn't remember if the drive had any personal data on it!
Suffice it to say, I quickly had my girlfriend get me back into the house, and I re-cammed the door knob immediately!
i had a regular supertalent pico usb, but the string was flimsy and eventually fell off my keys...but then i found this one...

i think this is the best usb flash drive. made to go on a key ring and its water resisitant. and a little smaller than the lacie key one. still with me after like 3 years
How do they handle the washing machine?
