Fall is almost here, and it's a great opportunity to dust off an old autumn wreath from last year, or to get inspired and make a new one from scratch. A wreath hanging from the door welcomes friends and family into your home, and can cultivate that cozy sense of burrowing into your abode for cooler weather. So grab some twigs, find some berries, collect a bag of acorns, or find your stash of yellow yarn and orange felt. It's time to embrace autumn.

Having a hard time wrapping my mind around fall here in the still sweltering heat, but these are all lovely. Made #1 a few yrs ago & it's held up well, still going strong, lots of compliments. Got my eye on the acorn wreath now. My oak trees netted a couple gallon ziplocks full after the squirrels had their pick so been waiting on inspiration This.is.it. I'll be carting my supplies out to the patio just as soon as we get a cool spell (relatively speaking).
Martha Stewart has featured some gorgeous and easily diy'd wreaths over the years. Check out her site. No religion, but lovely crafts.
@jdoey, maybe it's a search engine thing? I'm from Australia, and if I was looking for stuff for the season between summer and winter, I'd type in 'autumn wreaths' or something.
(...Of course, it's the southern hemisphere, so right now I'm looking for SPRING stuff, but you get the idea!)
And here's an amusing wreath from someone under the weather cold wreath
