Scrolling through Instagram is a fun little escape from the everyday. While we love looking at beautiful things, the habit can be dangerous for our wallets. You're just double tapping along and out of the blue pops up something cute that you just HAVE. TO. HAVE. And I know I'm not alone in my Insta-shopping guilty pleasures. Check out the things we have actually bought because we saw them on the 'gram.

Tassel Earrings from Little Arrow

Tara: I saw these beauties on Studio DIY's Snapchat and Instagram, and immediately bought myself a belated Christmas present. Also some Magical AF socks. And a Nasty Woman pin for a friend. My wallet says HELP, but my heart say YASS.

Golden Corkscrew from Salt House Market

Taryn: I started following Salt House Market on Instagram after we featured founder Sarah Ashley Schiear's apartment in a house tour. Now I've gone full-on Regina George girl crush. This one time on Instagram, I saw Sarah using a gold corkscrew, so I went out and bought a gold corkscrew. I'm all about elevating everyday tools to something with style.

Getting ready for the month of (self) love ❤️ #HIGHHEELSSUICIDE jacket

"Not Your Babe" Jacket from High Heels Suicide

Brittney: It's sold out now, but I came across this jacket on the Instagram Explore page (and then dreamt about buying it for months and months before I finally caved and ordered it) a couple of years ago. It came all the way from Spain and is still the most treasured thing in my wardrobe—I wear it whenever I need a major confidence boost.

Simple Gemstone Circa Stacking Ring by Favor Jewelry

Adrienne: Though my apartment style could best be described as "Eclectic Bohemian Maximalist Explosion," my taste for jewelry runs between minimal to non-existent. I've just never been the kind of gal to accessorize much. But, after spending my last birthday surrounded by the earth's underground wonders in two of my favorite places in the world (the Morgan Memorial Hall of Gems and the Harry Frank Guggenheim Hall of Minerals in the American Museum of Natural History), I decided I wanted to buy myself a birthstone ring (Emerald). When I came across a photo of Favor Jewelry's simple, minimal, modern ring, I purchased immediately.

Thick Thighs Save Lives Pennant by Rayo & Honey

Nora: I can't remember who exactly, but I was Instagram stalking some impossibly beautiful and stylish purveyor of #blackgirlmagic and she had a Rayo & Honey pennant hanging in her work space. There are about a million amazing and inspirational quotes to choose from, but I was on the hunt for something to put above my bed and this felt a little too perfect.

Well, I now have more boxes coming my way. Damn you, stylish coworkers and gorgeous shop accounts!

Have you bought anything you saw on Instagram?
