• 1 The gray Heath tile in James and Julie's bathroom has a lovely blue cast that makes a nice frame for the garden window. Gray tile with a white wall feels elegant and classic, but not boring.
• 2 A super-soft dove gray paint, matched with white accessories and gauzy curtains, creates an airy, calming space. Photo from This Old House.
• 3 The gray paint in this bathroom from Country Living veers toward taupe. We love how it extends to the ceiling, creating a cozy feel, and the warm golden floor brings out the warmth in the gray. A lush green plant also adds a beautiful vibrant pop.
• 4 Gray marble extending up a bathroom wall feels a bit more modern and austere, but also luxurious. Love the floating vanity and the red-tinged mosaic border in the shower. From Style at Home.
• 5 Moroccan tile can sometimes feel a bit flashy or overbearing in bright color, but this gray decorative tile is chic and exotic. Love it paired with the putty-colored paint. From I Suwannee.

oooh! 1st & 4th are my favs- we almost bought a house with a STUNNING grey bath, but someone got to it before us!
Yup, that Heath tile is really beautiful!
I hope my new Heath backsplash turns out as nicely!
#3 is pure love for me.
Glad to see this feature, very timely! My renovation palette is all black and white and grey, and I'd really really love to have a grey butcher (subway) tile in the bathroom. The paint colour in number 3 would be great throughout the house too, it's the right sort of depth.
Wow, #3 makes me swoon. Grey, black & white, but warm. It's changing my kitchen plans...
I hope this gray trend stays and doesn't become outdated like the avocado green, because I am loving it.
Its really beautiful.

oooh #3 and #4. the bathroom in our house has a cutesy pine tree wallpaper. not my style, but not as bad as the country hearts all over the place. this makes me want to change it all right now!
Love gray in the bathroom. It combines great with white, looking fresh, clean and airy. For me I'd need the white to predominate to keep it that way. These are great examples, very inspiring! No. 2 is my fave, because of all that light!
Do you know the paint color in #2?
That is awesome. I am currently displaced from my wife's and my master bedroom as we are redoing our master bath and we also picked grey 2x18 tile and a marble subway tile floor in a herringbone pattern. We have been saving up for a year to do this and we are only a week or so away from being able to use it. BTW we also specked the new kohler brushed gold fixture throughout!!! i am so excited!
Well wouldn't ya know I am about to redo my bathroom in gray. How timely!
The second bathroom is absolutely gorgeous!! Just a hint of gray with all that white is a perfect combination.
