We're endlessly interested in container houses. They're green and almost always fascinating pieces of architecture.
This "house" in particular, the Container City in London, really knocked us over. And, because most of the other AT sites are hosting color contests this month, we thought this Lego-like, multi-hued complex definitely deserved a mention here.
We love the seemingly random placement of containers and the playful color palette. And, apparently, we aren't alone: The demand was so high for these homes after they were built in 2001, that another "city" was built next door. Now, if only we could get a few container cities here in the Bay Area ...
