Brrrr...autumn arrived in unexpected fashion here with cold northern gusts knocking down power lines, snapping cables on the Bay Bridge and dropping temps 20 degrees overnight. We also had to pull out the extra blanket last night, and we're sure a lot of us may need some extra warmth now that autumn has truly arrived, so we've collected a few heating pad options to warm up the bedroom...

Theres a cheap, classically designed, MUCH greener way to do this that'll last you 20 years: it's called a hot water bottle.
Better yet..invest in a high quality duvet (it means down), it will keep you warm in winter and cool in moderate summers. I am able to say this as I live in the Yukon... I spent close to a thousand dollars (Canadian I know) when I moved up here and haven't regretted it yet...
I think another body in the bed would work well too....
