My cat is too weird about what she will and won't scratch that I couldn't risk a fancy scratcher that would go to waste. Right now she's liking the ones from Ikea, which is great as they're super cheap.
i've got the one from marmalade and my catz love it! it was insanely expensive, but looks so good i can't complain too much. and it's lasting for.ever.
I've had it with the cardboard scratchers as I'm tired of vacuuming up the debris. We're back to the carpet-covered board.
Um, those Elisabeth paige Smith are a tad steep at around $300, no?
I catsit for someone who sprinkled catnip on the scratcher for her cat and boy did he love it. She'd turn it over every so often so that the catnip that had settled would be up at the top again, and thus more attractive to the kitty.
These look so great, but I think I'd have to choose either one of the structural "Pounce" models or the pod deal.
