IKEA Jonisk $50 This is the cheapest option available and is a fun alternative to a standard floor lamp. The light is made of glass and has a rounded bottom so it can rock on the ground. You can also buy in multiple for a striking effect. Dimmer switch is included.
West Elm Adjustable Metal Floor Lamp $150 This metal lamp is very affordable compared to normal West Elm pricing. The design is traditional modern and would look good in older homes. the soft glow from the shade is also ideal for more intimate lighting scenarios.
CB2 Alpha Carbon Floor Lamp $199 (on sale from $229) This lamp seems like a reinterpretation of the much more expensive JJ Floor Lamp as it looks like an oversized desk lamp. The form is really playful and striking and perfect for modern apartments.
Elise Floor Lamp $310 Moving up in the budget ranks, Design Within Reach has an excellent light available for a very fair price. The cylindrical form has an aluminum base with a dramatic diffuser. This would fit in with many different styles thanks to its minimalist appearance.
Fortuny Lamp $5000 And to cap off our list is the beautiful Fortuny lamp designed by Mariano Fortuny for Pallucco. It is modeled after industrial photography lighting and has such a unique form that it'll be sure to receive lots of comlpiments. Due to its price it's likely not to be a compulsive by but this would be a worthwhile investment as the quality of this design which has been around for over 100 years will continue to last and be beautiful for a very long time.
