Bethany Nauert is one of the talented photographer/bloggers for Apartment Therapy. She also shoots editorial features for Elle Decor, The LA Times, Rue, and Interiors Magazine, among many other commercial clients. She knows her way around photographing a home/interior space, that's for sure! Today she shares 5 tips to get you started…
3. Do a walk through. Whenever I'm photographing someone else's home I like to do a "walk through" to have a look around at the space and hear about what the homeowners did to decorate. You will find out what their favorite aspects of their designs are, and what they hate. This helps to make decisions on what to focus on subject wise.
5. Shoot everything! Shoot wide angles, close in vignettes, details of textures and collectables, and most of all think vertically and horizontally.
