Camera straps can come in all shapes and sizes. We've even recommend some more stylish straps to you in the past as an alternative to the ugly stock nylon ones. But as we lug our hulking DSLR around town, we've noticed that we're less concerned about finding a camera strap that looks good, but one that doesn't stand out. Well we did some searching and think we've found a nice selection of barely-there straps which do retain some style.
JnK leather strap
These come in a variety of styles. Unfortunately it is a Korean brand so ordering might be difficult, but we have read good things about the quality of these straps so it might very well be worth it.
Roberu Compact Camera Strap
These leather straps come in a variety of colors and look like they're also carefully made. We like the beautiful gold typography set on the neck strap as it adds a nice touch of class, although subtly, to the strap.
Gordy Camera Straps
These down and dirty leather straps are thin, simple, and cheap. They also seem to have a kind of cult following online among photographers.
LeBob's Etsy Shop
We had to feature at least one Etsy seller! After doing some browsing, this seemed to be one of the simpler, unobtrusive straps that we found on Etsy. Very reasonably priced as well.
Artistan & Artist Silk Cord Strap
Although this is the priciest of the selection, it is for good reason. Using a historic Japanese method of braiding silk, Artistan & Artist have developed an unbreakable, beauty of a cord. It is comfortable, unique, and sure to keep your camera at your side no matter what.
