- If you've got an anonymous AIM stalker, knowing how to find a users IP address on AIM should be of some assistance in getting the offender off your back.
- If you're ever locked out of your own machine, it's nice to know how to bypass a computer password on all major operating systems, but try not to abuse that one.
- If you've got some files you'd like to hide on your computer, you could always just bury it in a bunch of folders. But knowing how to hide a file behind a JPEG is a great tool.
- If you're stranded without Wifi, learn how to tether a smartphone, i.e. use your smartphone as a wireless modem for your laptop.
