You'd hit your legs on those metal pipes all night, unless you put your feet on them, which I'm sure Ms. Manners would frown upon...
and, look how close to the stove the table is... if your mounded coiffe is heavily shelacked (so you can be closer to gawd, as they say in the South) make sure the host sits you away from the stove... don't want to turn into a Roman candle by mistake!
