Awhile back we mentioned some of the classic games for kids to play in the car or train. We remember many of them from our youth, but we wanted to throw out a few more options for those who might have an extra long trip coming up or are just looking for something new!

1. Moms Minivan: This site boasts 101 things to do with a kid in the car, our personal favorite being bring a roll of aluminum foil to make animals, people or even super hero gear!

2. Printable Dr. Suess Games: From About.com's Travel With Kids, these printable pages would be great stapled together and made into an activity pack that's sure to keep them entertained both in the car and even late at night in the hotel.

3. Boy's Life Magazine: Sometimes the wheel doesn't need to be reinvented, this list includes our favorite game of all time -- lines and dots!

4. NJ.com: This site deals with the ins and outs of a tech based vacation and reminds you to keep things education and encourage constant sharing.

5. Amazon's Music Selection: Although you can download, borrow and make your own music these days, it's always nice to read the review from other parents about a specific cd. After listening to it 1 million times, we're pretty sure the reviews are accurate!

6. Travel Hacker: This list has a little old and a little new, many of which we're sad we are just now learning! Check out the run down and see if there's some to add to your family's arsenal.

7. How To Draw: These printable sheets teach your children how to draw everything from people to their favorite TV character. There's all sorts of things to keep them learning, even if doesn't turn out exactly as planned.

What does your family do in the car? Share your tried and true tips and tricks for other parents on the look out!
