With the 2010 Winter Olympics coming to an end, we wanted to give a final nod to the beautiful colors and design ideas we've seen over the last few weeks. The games have presented us with a great set of blues, greens and greys. It's made for easy watching and can be an easy set of colors to work into your own home.
Green and blue isn't a new combination by any means. Do you have a favorite piece in one of these hues? Leave us a link in the comments below! We also saw lucite tables and benches (during figure skating) and giant Fat Boy-esque loungers on the slopes for snow boarders. Did you see any other cool Olympic design?

Can someone tell me what that plant is in the fifth picture? Thanks!
I am in love with the colors and art work for the 2010 Olympics. Thanks for the ideas!
@jlyn2723, it's called Donkey's Tail or Burro's Tail, and like all sedums, is super easy to care for. One of my favorites!

I love the Olympic graphics this time around. I have seen the ones for London coming up and they are pretty cool, too.
I love how they chose green for one of the Olympic colours and it's SO green here right now. Oh lovely irony. :)
Great visual reference, thanks!
Here in Vancouver these colours are everywhere. I love the look of these games. Unfortunately, and tragically, the man behind the look of these games, Leo Obstbaum - is no longer with us.

A sad loss of a great talent.
Those stretch vases are such a ripoff of the Fidji vases from Kosta Boda.
I was totally admiring the color/pattern combination when I was watching figure skating last week...great idea to brainstorm some matching designs.
I work for an Olympic sponsor here in BC. I never thought I'd be influenced by it, but somehow my apartment has gone even more green and blue than it was before in the last couple of months! :)
