Why I use color:

I use color when decorating to accent and add flare. When decorating in my own home, the colors help express who I am, especially when I'm using my favorite colors. Colors can create moods and even boost energy levels. A splash of color can make any boring room exciting. I have transformed a drab room full of dull earth tones, into a fun and exotic space by only adding brightly colored accessories. 1. Colors do not always have to "match" they only need to complement one another. Be daring and unique!

2. Certain colors can make a small room seem larger and an over sized space seem more cozy.

1. Get color inspiration from fashion. Look at the colors in your favorite sweater, a striped shirt, or a plaid pair of pants. If you liked those colors together in a piece of clothing you might love them in a room.
