Party season is gearing up - and with it comes hosting duties. And with the hosting duties comes the expense of not only buying the libations and edible treats but the goods to serve them in and on. Well, we've always found that going the NON paper and plastic route is absolutely the way to go...much nicer, much greener and, because what you really need are the basics, you can use them over and over again; for future parties and in daily life. We found all 9 things on our list for UNDER $5...
...at IKEA.

that's really the beauty of ikea... i'd rather splurge on what's going in the glasses and not the glasses themselves!
keep these cheap lists coming! even though the products might not be new, it's nice to have the reminder!
I bought wine glasses from the dollar tree over a year ago, and am really surprised at how long they have lasted so far. I don't know if they have the same ones still, but they are really pretty.
I agree that the Dollar Tree is a great option for cheap kitchen things, as well as storage baskets, and gift bags!
I bought some amazing crystal stemware from my local goodwill. They were 99 cents each and they clink like a dream. People always comment on my fancy collection.
Great posting!
I love their 6-packs of wine glasses! You can buy enough to keep lots of people drinking, and you won't cry if someone happens to break one. I got sick when, one-by-one, my nice glassware was broken by friends or roommates. Funny thing is, no one has broken my cheap stuff!
