The soon-to-open small luxury hotel in Milan, Maison Moschino, will feature rooms based on fairy tales. We just saw this photo of a suite named the Rosella Jardini...
...which is decorated with rose petals. LOTS of rose petals - faux, of course. It's an over the top look best suited to a romantic weekend and not day-to-day life (or laundry!), but we thought it was worth a look for pure visual impact and whimsy.
Based on this room and the other we've seen which features a giant teacup coffee table situated under a very oversized lightbulb shaped pendant, we think that Moschino's somewhat surreal signature style will be evident throughout.
According to their press info, The common thread connecting the rooms is a fairy tale theme because to sleep is perchance to dream, and dreams are fairytales that we are allowed to experience first hand, the fables of a fantasy world that we have created. This is an alternate life in which we direct and stage the scripts of our very own play.
Dreamy!

Pretty, but isn't the world in an economic crisis? Do we really need another luxury boutique hotel that caters very specific? Guess so..

Yeah, but this place has probably been in the work for years. It's perhaps not a good time to open a luxury hotel, but it might be a better alternative than delaying the opening.
That is just too lovely, but how do they clean it?
I looks like sea weed in the photo.
Simply dreamy.
It's just beautiful. Just beautiful.
Fairy tales emerge out of the strife and struggle of life. And sometimes, they emerge in rooms.
Dream, indeed.
@ gogolightly: I bet they didn't think about that! Maybe they won't.....ew.
pretty though.
Funny...without the mobile this would be horribly tacky.
I think I smell Joy perfume...
