Ikea's Billy bookcases have been around forever and are one of the most functional and affordable pieces they offer. But perhaps you've grown a bit bored of yours? One Australian father transformed his into a fabulous dollhouse.

You can find his five steps to creating the dollhouse at Ikea Hacker and, of course, if you don't own a Billy, you can still be inspired by this idea and create something similar from 2x4s or another bookcase in your home. We especially love the size of this dollhouse which allows multiple children to play at once.
