A Blue, Boutique Hotel-Inspired Bedroom

Professional Project

Project by: Tas Madras
Location: San Francisco, California

Itching for a bedroom that makes you feel like you're spending every night in a rich, boutique hotel somewhere? You need only take inspiration from this compact but bold San Francisco bedroom designed by a professional.

From the designer: This bedroom/living room has a modern-classic, "boutique-hotel" inspired design with masculine details, bold patterns and clean lines. The visual interest of this room comes with the layering of color, textures and art. The selected art work reflects the homeowner’s love for technology, urban environments and modern paintings. This is a multi-purpose room that serves dual functions, and I solved layout challenges by dividing it into two zones and then using a dark paint color to bring it all together. The mood is set in this space to be a relaxing bedroom as well as a vibrant entertaining space. The design for this room was completed remotely through e-design services when this client hired me through Interior Design start-up, Tastemaker.

Thanks, Tas Madras!
