I think I have found my dream bedroom in this beautiful and modern yet nurturing home in the Los Feliz neighborhood of Los Angeles. Browsing the Style Files the other day, I was struck by this perfectly appointed space designed by Alexandra Angle of Los Angeles (and also New York.)
Was I dreaming when I saw what looks like an outdoor bathtub? Between that, the delicious hammock, and the elegant outdoor lighting over the morning-coffee-nook-for-two, this is a place I would like to visit and never leave. I can see it now: the alarm buzzes softly. Instead of hitting snooze, I bounce out of bed and head for the rocking chair ready to embrace the day, starting with a piping hot cup of coffee in the cool morning air.
The use of prints resting against the wall is perfect for the space and creates a casual and very relaxed look. Come to think of it, this place looks like the perfect illustration of relaxation. A modern but comforting place to put your feet up, to soak up the sun, and to let go...

Shaw's Original Fir...
Love the size and layout.
Doesn't the dark paint get hot in the summer sun?
Ooh! This is so, so wonderful! It doesn't look like a big space, but it's very well used. I never used to like dark siding, but it's growing on me. And the contrast with the white interior is just charming. I might be wrong, but the exterior looks like painted corrugated metal. The flow between indoor and outdoor space is very good.
where is that tree branch print/panel from?!
love this place!
can anyone tell me where to get this amazing bed frame?????
