Ceramics artist Asya Palatova recently sold her colorful loft in favor of a spacious rental that has a lot to offer, but falls a little short in the kitchen where the cabinets were plain jane at best. So she came up with a sweet solution, adding a surprising dose of color to the interior using leftover paint from her old space.
Yes, we've seen color and pattern on the insides of cabinets before, but we love the use of alternating colors so that each cabinet plays off the next — and how well the hue sets off her ceramic pieces. Too see more of Asya's work, visit gleena.com or check out her blog, my mama's table.

very pretty
Having recently painted my kitchen cabinets inside and out, I can attest to that being ALOT OF WORK.
This Old House has a really great how-to on painting flawless kitchen cabinets on their website.
Fun idea. Looks much cheerier with the color. Love Asya's butterfly dessert plates that she show on her blog!
Love this idea instead of making the outside of your cabinets a bold and trendy color. I am tired of seeing Lime kitchen cabinets. They just make me shake my head and think of all the money the home-owner wasted.
