Last July, we featured the functional and whimsical Ribbon coat rack by the UK's HeadSprung. Well, the design team has done it again with the Scribble, a coat rack inspired by a scribble mark drawn with a calligraphy pen. We love the idea that a coat rack, sans coats, need not look like a mere row of hooks.

The Scribble, made out of powder coated mild steel, holds up to 5 coats, and has dedicated space on either end for scarves, umbrellas, and other day-to-day accessories. Our only concern would be that all of our coats might hide its lovely design.

I wonder if it's possible to recreate this on one's own using a sealed wood or something similar. It's lovely.
Your coats *will* obscure the lovely design.
Sweet design.. A sculpture in its own right when coatless.
"made out of powder coated mild steal", should it say milled steel or something? Or am I not getting something?
Mild steel is a type of steel. Not as soft as cast iron. Not a super fancy alloy either. Easy to work with.
