The next time you are at your company's annual summer picnic, take a look at what all of the kids are doing. Hopefully they are having fun, not getting into too much trouble and keeping themselves amused. But check out this picnic where it was never in doubt where the kids were--inside a fantastical cardboard wonderland. Quite a few adults could be found there as well.
The details of this cardboard fun-town can be found at Play and Grow, but you will probably need a little help from Google translate to make any sense of it. Evgeny Kudryavtsev created it for three hundred kids attending a big picnic. We cannot tell if the pieces were custom made or existing pieces that he reused. Either way, the result was a big hit.
Mazes, obstacles, hidey-holes--all of the essentials were covered. Throw in a bunch of colorful paint and you end up with three hundred very satisfied picnickers.
